At Seattle Symphony, music education is a top priority. So, naturally, we’re thrilled that we’re being recognized for our dedication to bringing symphonic music to the people of our region.
On April 16, the President of the Association of Educational Service Districts in Washington State will honor Seattle Symphony with a President’s Award in recognition of the Orchestra’s contributions to educating Washington State youth.
Association President Charles Staadecker will present the award to Music Director Gerard Schwarz and Director of Education Nancy Gosen. Says the Association, “Seattle Symphony’s contributions to education are both important and symbolic of partnerships that exist across the state between arts organizations and educational communities.“
