All of us at the Seattle Symphony and Benaroya Hall are deeply saddened by the passing of Marvin Hamlisch, our Principal Pops Conductor since 2008. His contribution to American music was immeasurable. He was clearly devoted to you — our audience — and inspired audiences and musicians alike with the absolute joy he found in music-making. We will dearly miss this brilliant and funny composer, conductor and friend.
